Adriana Spangler
8th Grade Homeroom Teacher
About The Teacher
Hello!! My name is Adriana Spangler and I am the eighth grade homeroom teacher and assistant principal here at St. Luke School. I have been part of the St. Luke family since 2005 when I began the Transitional Kindergarten program. Since then I have taught 5th grade, 7th grade homeroom, and I’m excited to be in 8th grade this year!

I attended St. Catherine of Siena Elementary School and St. Patrick St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, CA, before moving to Stockton.  I have a bachelor's degree in Human Services and this year I am submitting the final paperwork to receive a single subject credential in History from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  I have had a life-long commitment to Catholic School education, and I feel blessed every single day to be able to live out my vocation while serving you and your children at St. Luke School.

Recognizing that students learn in different ways, my approach to teaching is based on the principals of multiple intelligence.  From role-playing exercises to research papers, from class debates to hands-on science projects, I practice various teaching methods for the variety of student learning styles in my classroom.  I have a passion for the subjects that I teach, and I share my knowledge and enthusiasm for learning with your children!

I have three wonderful boys who keep my life full and amazing. Matteo is in 2nd Grade, Xavier is in 5th grade, and my oldest is a freshman at Lodi High School. I love my role as a parent of children here at St. Luke School! My boys have been blessed with wonderful teachers and I am grateful that they are loved and cared for by every single staff member on campus.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and taking naps! I love music and going to concerts!

I cannot wait to share this year with your amazing children!
