1st Grade Teacher
About The Teacher
Welcome to 1st Grade! I am Mrs. Cambra.

I am so excited to be the 1st grade teacher at St. Luke’s!

I was born and raised in Stockton. I attended Catholic schools from elementary to high school. I attended University of the Pacific and earned a degree in Graphic Design.

I entered the teaching profession over 20 years ago. My background includes instructing students in public, private, and charter schools. I have experience teaching in general education from preschool to middle school ages. My favorite subjects to teach are reading, science, and art! I was a substitute teacher and reading intervention tutor for many years which gave me the opportunity to learn instructional strategies and polish my skills as a teacher, while giving me the flexibility to raise my children. I enjoy incorporating my artistic ideas to make learning fun and keeping my students fully engaged and excited about learning!

During my spare time I enjoy sewing, watching movies, and taking day trips to Half Moon Bay!

I am thrilled to teach your child this year! It’s going to be a great year of fun, friendships, and creative learning!
