I consider myself very blessed to have lived in places most people only dream of. I spent the first twelve years of my life in India, eleven years in London, ten years in New York and the past twenty-two years in California. I earned my BS in Microbiology from the University of London but remained a stay-at-home mom to my three children until they were grown. In 2000 I came to St. Luke's to help out a friend and realized how much I enjoyed teaching. So I went back to school and earned my Teaching Credentials in Mathematics from National University.
I teach in an enthusiastic and simple step-by-step manner so that students have a positive experience learning mathematics. I believe that building a solid foundation at the elementary level is key to a student’s success in high school, college, and beyond. When our graduates return to visit me at St. Luke’s and ask for help or to tell me they wish I was their teacher in high school, I know I have succeeded. Helping students grow academically, morally and spiritually is our mission here at St. Luke's School.
